Large format document scanning

Trigonix specializes in scanning both flexible large format documents and those mounted on rigid backings. Our expertise includes maps, plans and large fragile documents having great historical value.

Plans, Maps and Technical Drawings

Trigonix scans plans, maps and technical drawings on all media including polyester film, velum, paper, blueprints and sepias. The maximum accepted width is 54 inches and lengths are unlimited. Scanning is done in black and white, gray scale or color, according to the type or quality of the original document. Scans can be archived on CDs, DVDs or hard disks or transmit them directly to a client’s servers. Data is preserved in standard file formats such as PDF, TIFF, and JPEG.

Historical Large Format Documents

Trigonix offers archival scanning solutions specifically adapted for institutions, museums and libraries that need to scan maps, drawings and other historical, large format documents. Often these documents are part of special collections and are rare, old and fragile and must be handled with extreme care. In order to scan these precious documents without damaging them, Trigonix has designed large format flatbed scanners.
