| Trigonix offers a solution to Museums, National Archives and Libraries that need to scan large format Maps, Drawings, Works
of Art or other historical and Special Collection Documents. Often time, these documents are rare, old, and fragile and must be handled
with care.
To accomplish this, Trigonix has designed the SHP 1000, a large-format high accuracy flatbed scanner capable of scanning documents 60
inches wide (150 cm.) by unlimited length. It is designed to scan original documents like maps and drawings with the highest possible
accuracy while offering a high degree of safety for the originals during scanning. The scanner has been designed to allow the original
document to rest on the scanner table and lay flat without moving. A camera fixed to a gantry moves over the table and scans the whole
document ensuring thereby that even the most fragile or brittle documents will not be damaged during scanning.
The SHP 1000 handles large, oversize maps or drawings; fragile documents and documents mounted on a rigid background like posters or works
of arts; documents requiring high degree of accuracy, printed originals, transparencies and flat metal sheet. |
