| Trigonix offers a solution to Aircraft Manufacturers who need to transfer, with a high degree of accuracy, hand-created
Master Engineering Drawings to Catia or other high-end CAD software.
Trigonix has designed the SHP 1000, an extra-wide, high precision flatbed scanner capable of scanning drawings as well as
flat metal parts to an accuracy of +/- .003 inches (75 microns) across the entire length of the drawing or metal part. It is capable of
scanning drawings 60 inches wide (150 cm.) by unlimited length. It operates in a normal office environment, having no need for controlled
humidity or temperature.
Once an original drawing has been scanned, the resulting accurate TIF image file is converted to vector entities and translated to a CATIA
Model or other high-end CAD software. Our quality control procedures ensure that all the files released meet the technical requirements set
forth by the client. This involves submitting all the converted files in the appropriate CAD Software Level and following the technical
drafting standards related to text and dimensions, geometry entities, shading, etc. |
